Jasper County Hospital will bill your health care insurance carrier or carriers as a courtesy if you have provided complete and accurate information at the time of registration. However, it is ultimately your responsibility to see that your bill is paid in a timely manner, either by your insurance carrier or yourself.

Any third party liability due to accidents, i.e. automobile, will be billed to the patient directly. You are fully responsible for payment for all services rendered.

Financial Assistance

You may qualify for reduced health care costs. Jasper County Hospital provides health care services without charge to qualifying patients at, or below, the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Physician Bills

Physicians who practice at Jasper County Hospital are private practitioners. Professional services provided by your physician will be billed to you separately from Hospital charges. Those professionals may include anesthesiologists, radiologists, pathologists, oncologists, surgeons, or other specialists. If you have any questions concerning their billing statements, please call their offices directly.

Statements

Statements are generated by each account if a balance remains. Please note you will receive a new statement with a new account number for each visit to the Hospital.
