Coronary artery bypass graft surgery
Heart attack
Stent placement
Heart transplant
Valve repair-replacement
Learn to exercise safely
Exercise for 30 minutes while maintaining a safe heart rate
Reduce risk factors
Understand heart disease and symptom management

Telemetry monitored sessions
Meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday for approximately one hour
If qualifications are met, covered by Medicare and/or private insurance
Usual duration is 6-8 weeks
Individual educational offerings
Work up to 30 minutes of aerobic activity (treadmill, bike, etc.)
Need physician order
The program is conducted with the guidance of a Board Certified Cardiologist. A team of health professionals prescribe and monitor individualized exercise prescriptions and diet.
