Environmental Services

Housekeeper

Shift: Part-time, 2:00 - 10:30 p.m.

Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to climb a ladder, lift up to 35 lbs, bend, kneel, and reach. Use and mix chemicals correctly, will train. Must be able to work well with others.

CWS

Scheduler

Shift: Part-time, Monday and Friday.

Must have knowledge of computer systems and have accurate keyboarding skills. Must be able to take messages and transfer calls. Must be able to maintain patient schedules consistent with the needs of the department. Must be able to work both independently and cooperatively with minimal supervision. High School diploma or equivalent. Basic knowledge of the reasons for patient care as administered in the departments and knowledge of medical terminology is desired.

ICCU/PCC

RN

Shift: Full-time; 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

RN with current CPR. Must be telemetry certified. ACLS/PALS required. If not currently certified in ACLS/PALS must be willing to obtain certification within 6 months. Must be dependable, team player, and demonstrate the ability to critically think. Good communication skills a must, as well as three years various hospital experience (with some background in critical care). Must have good attendance at current position.

KVHC

Wellness Attendant

Shift: Part time: 6 - 8 days per pay period (bi-weekly).

Wellness Attendants will be responsible for specific tasks during their shift including: Preparing the facility for business by performing opening/closing responsibilities. Filling out paperwork for member enrollment. Answering telephone calls and dealing with customer relations. Assisting members with the operation of exercise machines. Filing completed paperwork to designated locations. Entering guest information into computer system. Enforcing club rules. Helping maintain cleanliness of facility. Stocking standard use forms for daily operations. Monitoring water levels in the pool and spa. Additional tasks may be delegated specifically by Wellness Coordinator/Manager or Assistant Wellness Coordinator/Manager.

HHC & Hospice

On-call RN

Shift: On-call, 80 hours per pay period.

Need an experienced RN to assume on call duties for HHC/ Hospice. In return for taking 80 hours of call per pay period, we will provide you with a health insurance plan. Need a nurse with self confidence, good assessment and IV skills. Must be willing to see patients throughout our coverage area. If you are an experienced RN needing health insurance, but not able to work full time, this might be the job for you.

Respiratory Therapist

Shift: Full-time; varies.

Duties: Good assessment skills. Some data entry computer work included. Must be cooperative, considerate, and dedicated. Must have a congenial attitude. Must be friendly and outgoing. Must be self-motivated and be able to work without direct supervision. Must be a team player. Must possess a valid IN RT license.

Hospice Volunteers Needed

Jasper County Hospital Home Health Care and Hospice is currently recruiting new volunteers for our hospice program. Volunteers provide caregiver relief and companionship, deliver medicine or assist with office work. They are an important part of our hospice team. Volunteers are needed in Kentland, Morocco, Lake Village, Roselawn, Wheatfield and Rensselaer areas.
