High school graduate or equivalent education required. Good interpersonal skills required. Ability to type 60 wpm with speed and accuracy. Must be organized, courteous, professional and able to multi-task. Functions in normal office environment using Meditech, copy machines, printer, fax machines. Excel knowledge a plus.

LPN with Indiana license needed to make HHC or Hospice visits throughout our coverage area. Need a valid drivers license and dependable transportation. Need good assessment skills. Housekeeper

Shift: Full-time, 6:00 a.m.- 2:30 p.m.

Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to climb a ladder, lift up to 35 lbs, bend, kneel, and reach. Use and mix chemicals correctly, will train. Must be able to work well with others.

Wheatfield Health Centre

LPN

Shift: Full-time; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Directs, initiates and implements patient care plan. Assists nurse practitioner during examinations and procedures. Prepares equipment, orders supplies. Requires good organizational skills and attention to detail. Must have good communication skills. Must be willing and able to perform some clerical and office duties. Candidate will need a PPD and must be CPR certified, able to draw blood and give injections. Must be cooperative, considerate and dedicated. Must be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision. Dependable, friendly, outgoing pleasant personality and positive attitude also required. Must be knowledgeable about medications and familiar with standard practices. Performs a wide a wide variety of tasks.

Housekeeper

Shift: TBD, 8-10 days per pay period (bi-weekly).

High School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Required to wear uniforms. The Housekeeper is responsible to maintain an acceptable level of cleanliness in daily assigned areas. This includes, but is not limited to, restrooms, showers, stairways, entrance ways, lobbies, lounges, patient rooms, treatment areas. Performs cleaning on vertical and horizontal surfaces. Reports any problem situation to appropriate department personnel.

Applicant must be graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program. Must be licensed within the state of Indiana as an Advanced Practice Nurse.

On call RN

Shift: ON CALL - 80 hours per pay period.

Need an experienced RN to assume on call duties for HHC/ Hospice. In return for taking 80 hours of call per pay period, we will provide you with a Health Insurance Plan. Need a nurse with self confidence, good assessment and IV skills. Must be willing to see patients throughout our coverage area. If you are an experienced RN, needing health insurance but not able to work full time, this might be the job for you.

RN

Shift: Full-time; 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.

Critical care experienced required. Orientation will include training in ICCU as well as other nursing departments. Candidate must have good work/attendance record. Must possess good communication skills and be flexible with work environment and schedule. Desirable candidate must be a team player. Must be able to proficiently complete computer documentation. Prefer candidate to have current CPR/Telemetry/ACLS certification. Must be willing to obtain PALS certification upon hiring.

Registered Nurse with 1-2 years experience in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and newborn nursery. Must have a good attendance record. Must have CPR certification. Require NNR certification within 1 year of hire. Applicant must be able to work days and/or nights. One P.M. shift every month and PRN. Potential for part-time position.

Hospice Volunteers Needed

Jasper County Hospital Home Health Care and Hospice is currently recruiting new volunteers for our hospice program. Volunteers provide caregiver relief and companionship, deliver medicine or assist with office work. They are an important part of our hospice team. Volunteers are needed in Kentland, Morocco, Lake Village, Roselawn, Wheatfield and Rensselaer areas.
