LPN

Shift: PRN

We are looking to employ motivated LPN's for PRN shifts. Must enjoy working with the elderly, must be quality and safety minded, must possess good communication skills and excellent attendance is a requirement. The Alternacare staff functions as a team and you will be expected to be a team player. A valid Indiana nursing license is required. CPR, if not current, can be obtained after hire. Dementia certification required, can obtain after hire.

Aide

Shift: Part-time 11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., 32 hours per bi-weekly pay period; holidays& weekends

Experience in institutional food service preferred.  Must be able to work every other weekend and some holidays.  Opportunity for advancement.  Must also be available for call-in if needed.

RN

Shift: PRN

Home Health Care and Hospice experience and BSN preferred.  Must have current Indiana nursing license.  Applicant must be a team player who can coordinate/manage care of HHC & Hospice patients.  Must be able to work independently in the home environment in a variety of situations, must be flexible and possess good communication skills.  Computer documentation skills required.  Must have valid drivers license, dependable transportation with adequate insurance coverage.

Hospice Volunteers Needed

Jasper County Hospital Home Health Care and Hospice is currently recruiting new volunteers for our hospice program. Volunteers provide caregiver relief and companionship, deliver medicine or assist with office work. They are an important part of our hospice team. Volunteers are needed in Kentland, Morocco, Lake Village, Roselawn, Wheatfield and Rensselaer areas. ICCU

RN

Shift: Full-time; 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Critical care experience preferred. Will train the right candidate. Candidate must have good work/attendance record. Must possess good communication skills and be flexible with work environment and schedule. Desirable candidate must be a team player. Must be able to proficiently complete computer documentation. Prefer candidate to have current CPR, Telemetry and ACLS certifications. Must be willing to obtain PALS certification upon hire. BSN preferred.

KVHC

Fitness Sales Specialist and Support Staff

Shift: Full-time days; occasional nights

Oversees fitness operations.  Assists in the training of fitness attendants.  Manages member accounts and financial activity.  Performs fitness evaluations for members.  Schedule, receive and direct Rehabilitation patients and visitors.  Work directly with therapists.  Screen and refer incoming telephone calls.  Maintain proper office supplies and other materials.

Qualifications: Must hold at least an Associates degree in Exercise Science or related field or have an NCAA accredited personal training certification with business experience.

Nursery Attendant

Shift: Part-time; 20 hours per week

The nursery attendant will be responsible for the following; making sure that each parent/guardian has been informed of the rules pertaining to the childcare room and has signed a waiver regarding these issues.  Each time a child is brought to the childcare room their parent/guardian must sign their child both in and out of the childcare room.  Children in the nursery attendant’s care must remain in the childcare room at all times.  Depending on the ages of children left under nursery attendant’s care, it is the attendant’s responsibility to inform the Fitness Coordinator/ Manager or Assistant Fitness Coordinator/ Manager on duty when the childcare room has reached its capacity or if additional help is required.  Toys are to be disinfected daily.

Aerobic Instructor

Shift: Part-time; Early morning 4-5 classes per week

Aerobic activities are to be instructed as scheduled by the aerobic coordinator.  Must attend workshops for continuing education.  Update routines every 6-8 weeks.  Mandatory attendance at instructor meetings.  If unable to instruct a scheduled class, it is the aerobic instructor responsibility to arrange coverage for that class.  Will train the correct individual if necessary.

R.N.

Shift: Part-time; 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.

Looking to hire an energetic RN for a busy Med/Surg unit.  Experienced preferred.  Must be a team player and possess the ability to document using a computerized format.  Excellent prior work attendance is required.  Must possess good communication skills.  Position requires routine weekend and holiday rotation.  CPR required (can obtain after hire).
