Jasper County Hospital

Stacy Hansen and Bill Nemeth prepare a delivery
of medical supplies to homebound patients.

Home Medical Equipment

Home Medical Equipment is a hospital based service staffed by qualified personnel to meet the equipment needs of people in their homes.

Our goal is to assist in creating a safe living environment where the physically challenged and elderly can continue to realize their full potential within the comfort of their own home.

The Home Medical Equipment Representative will assist in providing equipment needed to minimize the effects of an illness, injury or disability. Equipment is available for purchase or rent, delivered and set up in the patient's home free of charge, and complete instructions of safe and proper use of equipment are given.

Lifeline

Living on our own can be enjoyable and rewarding. But sometimes you may be concerned about the possibility of a bad fall, an accident or sudden illness. With Lifeline, you will feel more relaxed, secure and confident.

Lifeline is a personal response system which links you to 24-hour assistance at the push of a button. It allows you to move freely around your home or yard with confidence.

Trained personnel receive your help call and immediately attempt to make voice contact with you. If assistance is needed, they will contact one of your "responders" - nearby friends or relatives. For more serious situations, an ambulance or the police can be dispatched.

Home Respiratory Equipment

Respiratory Home Care is a hospital based service to help meet the respiratory needs of people who wish to remain in their home.

The Respiratory Home Care Staff is available for assessment of the home environment, free delivery and pickup of equipment and supplies, assistance with travel arrangements for oxygen patients, complete instruction for use and care of respiratory equipment and assistance with insurance and billing.

To provide the best service to our patients, a qualified Respiratory Home Care Staff member is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week to respond to urgent needs.

Respiratory Equipment Includes:
Oxygen concentrator Cylinder oxygen Oxygen conserving device
Peak flow Sleep studies Nebulizers
Bi-PAP CPAP Oximetry
