The Jasper County Hospital Auxiliary recently held their spring luncheon to honor those members who donated time assisting patients and visitors at the Hospital. More than 100 individuals volunteer their time, and in 2011 those Auxilians donated thousands of hours of service to many people.
Hospital President Tim Schreeg attended the luncheon and assisted in recognizing the recipients. Schreeg said, "Our Auxiliary members help in so many ways adding another layer of quality and service for our patients."
500 hours: Rosemary Meade, Joan Skinner, Ruth Armstrong, Barb Dewey and Betty Lintner Malone
1,000 hours: Phyllis Britt, Marcia Pitcher and Sandi Wilson

Receiving Honorary Membership at the Awards Banquet were: Judy Smith, Theresa Logan and Joan Brooks.
The Auxiliary operates the Hospital's Gift Shop, which is a fundraising endeavor for the Hospital. Other fundraisers carried out by the Auxiliary include a Spring golf outing, a Fall book fair and Christmas bazaar.
